Who Are We as Interior Designers Sales Man? or Superman?

Introduction
Many people in India are able to decipher a Chris Nolan movie plot, but arent able to figure out what a Interiors Designer is meant for or why should he be neccessarily hired for a process .This process has a lot of misconceptions ,the Common misconceptions with interior designers often stem from a lack of understanding about the true scope of their work. that means whats are they meant for ?are they being jus used as a adviser or they play the most pivotal role?
Many people assume that interior designers simply choose colours and furniture, but their role is much more comprehensive. From making the layouts to doing the space planning and providing the conceptual ideas to the clients ,we are like clocks hands running all round the periphery to save your time and to provide the best outlook to your space.
On answering the Part who are we? We are a trained professionals who must understand construction, spatial planning, and the principles of design. We often work closely with contractors, and engineers to ensure that a space is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and safe. Even though we are being so effective why are client still stating the same phrase that goes "You sound soo high on your prices can you please lower it?
Being The Sales Man Rather Superman
Even Superman has to go through to be disguised as a normal man doing 9 to 5 job inorder to protect his legacy , who are we then? We as interior designers have to play the part of normal sales man who goes round the clock explaining things in detail to the clients on various factors involved in transforming their space and also the time and effort that a designer has to spend inorder to achieve the desired output .Another common misconception is that hiring an interior designer is a luxury reserved for the wealthy. In reality, designers can work within a wide range of budgets and can actually help clients save money by avoiding costly mistakes and making the most of the available resources.
Turning into a sales man comes to light when we have to make ample efforts to convince the client that a small save of money with our guidance can generate you some best impactful spaces. Generally sales man attitude is short lived based on the clients mentality to spend on the product, if hes i willing to increase the budget by atleast a 10% then we could deploy our so called salesman statergies but if on the contrary he is not willing to spend much then we are only left with an option to educate them.
Fear of the Common Public
Finally when we are unleashing the superman from inside !! we as Designers are a bit apart from the genral public as we possess the super powers to analyse the space and their respective constrains and inorder providing the best solutions to the clients to deliver the best possible product.Throughout the process we use our keen examining xray vision skills to track and examine on the budget ,material quality the time frame of deliverance and other minimal factors.
We being the interior Super man are very strong in our study and approach towards transforming the space ,unless and untill a crptonite of "low budget " is introduced to us. this constrain generally lowers our effective exploration on material front and also our drive to deliver the best outcomes.
